Client NanoSight Limited gains recognition | 30 January 2012

Our congratulations to NanoSight Limited, who, at the end of last year, won the 2011 Business Innovation Award in the category of “Energy & Environment”. The award was presented by Vince Cable, the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills.

The award was in recognition of the success of NanoSight’s “Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis” (NTA) apparatus which is protected by patents in many countries. NTA allows the real-time detection and characterisation of individual particles, as small as viruses. As such NTA is finding a huge range of applications in both industry and research.

NTA is unique, and NanoSight’s strong patents mean that they have many years of exclusivity in which to exploit their technical leadership in the field.
